American Vaccine Center Jolan Shirley Rhodes M.D. Medical Director is a full-service vaccine clinic as well as a pediatric medical practice providing general care for infants and children up to age 18. We're located in Hyattsville, Maryland, and are one of just seven centers in Maryland that can administer Yellow Fever shots.
Physician Jolan Shirley Rhodes is a member of the AMA American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Prince George’s County Medical Society. We’re easy to get to, at 3331 Toledo Terrace, #207, located just off the Green Line on the Washington Metro rapid transit system, not far from the University of Maryland at College Park. If you’re driving, we have lots of free parking. Many people forget that they may need a vaccine for the country that they will be going to. Whether you are traveling for pleasure or with a humanitarian aid group, vaccination is essential. We offer last minute vaccines to those who may be in a hurry.
Our pediatric practice provides newborn and premature infant care, through childhood diseases and conditions including asthma and sports injuries among many other maladies. We offer camp and school physicals but do not make regular hospital rounds. The practice accepts Medicaid for patient care but does not take it for travel vaccines. Learn More About Our Practice ›
